In 2011 I had the opportunity to help teach Truck Ops with Captain Tom Chase from Dallas FD at the International F.O.O.L.S. Conference. This was my first introduction to the F.O.O.L.S. Since then I’ve had the chance to meet some people dedicated to making firefighters better. From Alaska to Florida, I’ve made friends and contacts. (And, a special thanks to the Alaskan F.O.O.L.S.
