Training Tree and Props

Braskey Training Tree

• The “Tree” is a multipurpose training prop that can be used in conjunction with the Force Door or stands alone by itself. The Tree will accept various inserts to help expand your knowledge of forcible entry techniques. The Tree has also been built to withstand hours of continuous training.

Built to simulate a standard door, The Hinge Cut allows your members to practice the different rotary saw techniques needed to defeat each hinge. This prop requires two sacrificial 2×8 boards.

Braskey Crush Prop

The crush prop can be attached to our Force Door or stand-alone by itself.  The crush prop allows you to practice gapping on real metal doors, and can also be used to practice carriage bolts drive off.  Just install your carriage bolts into the piece of a metal door and now you can practice gapping and bolt drive off.

Braskey VES Window

The Braskey Entry Window, also referred to as a Vent-Enter-Search (VES) window, is designed to mimic the sashes and panes difficulties encountered while removing triple paned windows and sashes.  This prop utilizes 2 panes of high strength polycarbonate that create the removable window panes.  1/4″ bolts serve to create a quickly reset system that requires accurate strikes to remove.  The window dimensions can be specified to fit a current structure, or use our standard 30″x30″ Entry Window creating a narrow 3’0x3’0 opening that fits most windows (some build out required). 

Burglar Bars (Pry and Cut Props)

Burglar Bars can be found in both rural or urban settings, as well as, on a residential or commercial structure. It is important for today’s firefighters to be able to defeat these security devices. Braskey Products offers both Prying and Cutting attachments. Both attachments can be pinned high or low on the Tree.

Lock Pull, Cut, and Drive

Attaches to the Tree and allows your members to practice pulling locks, twisting and cutting chains, and driving off padlocks.

Garage Door Holder

For simulating the cutting of a garage door for access. This will allow you to practice working your rotary saw in different positions while gaining access to a garage.

**Please note that two Training Trees are required for both the left and right side holders.**

Thru-the-Lock Prop

This attachment provides practice removing cylinders and manipulating the internal mechanism of various locks.

Additional Equipment

Braskey Products Force Wedge

An aluminum wedge to assist you in holding your progress in forcible entry situations. Our wedges come with grooves added to each side to help keep the wedge from slipping. The wedge also comes with a pre-drilled hole so you can either use our supplied bungee or your own method to secure the wedge to your tools. *Personalized laser etching available at additional cost from an outside vendor.
